A pharmacist thrown into an apothecary of magical herbs--what could possibly go wrong?
Eden Noyes hasn't been back to Massachusetts since college. Not only does her ex, celebrity motivation speaker Carter Hughes live there, but strange things—things she can’t explain—always seem to happen in Hawthorne. Not to mention the big secret she's been protecting.
Not that Carter wants to see her, either. Eden blindsided him when she left, and he's not about to let her mess with his heart again—even if Grandma Tansy insists it's their destiny to end up together.
"This wonderful small town romance kept me entertained and intrigued from beginning to end with engaging characters you want to know and a sweet story with a hint of magic. I knew as soon as I started reading that I wouldn't be able to put this book down and I really wasn't ready for it to end when I got to the last page. I loved the undeniable attraction and chemistry between motivational speaker Carter Hughes and Eden Noyes who returns to her hometown of Hawthorne, Massachusetts. The secondary characters rounded out the plot and added much to my reading pleasure. If you enjoy small town sweet romance, you will love "Dash of Destiny"."
Researching the plants and natural remedies was challenging, but I had a lot of help. Almost every time I've had a booth at a craft fair, I've ended up next to someone selling soaps and lotions they've made with plant extracts, and they're always willing to help educate.
On the pharmacist side, my own brother was a professional resource. It was fun to see how these two schools of thought sometimes oppose and sometimes complement each other.
While You Were Speaking takes place before Dash of Destiny and has Carter Hughes and his family as significant side characters. (His brother, Zachary, is the main character.)
*You have to read While You Were Speaking first, but happens in that book is talked about.
