Spy novelist. Escape rooms. And a little bit of romance in this sweet and flirty romance.
Welcome to Billionaire Bachelor Mountain Cove. Off the grid, exclusive and remote, it's the best place for someone to disappear.
Grantham Robbins takes on the biggest challenge of his writing career--finding the perfect date for a big event.
Matchmaker Emily Wood comes to the rescue. She remembers Grant before he made it big... and they were best friends.
There's not a better man out there, so why can't she find his match?
Inspired by Jane Austen's Emma.
1. When I learned Gelato Publishing's next research trip was to Eureka Springs, Arkansas (which I'd been to before), I had already started brainstorming my next book. I really wanted to use a Frank Lloyd Wright house. Imagine how excited I was to find out there was one in Bentonville, and we added it to our itinerary. Using that house was meant to be!
2. I took my family to an escape room (my first experience with one) for research. (Can you tell I love my job?)
3. This book released the same week the latest film version of Jane Austen's Emma did.
You don't have to have read anything else for this book to stand completely alone. The main character, author Grantham Robbins, will make appearances in later books, though you don't have to know his backstory (or have read this book) for them to make sense.
